A driver in Los Angeles was ticketed for using a jacket carefully wrapped
around the front seat with the seatbelt fastened across it to resemble a
person to cheat carpool lane laws

CHP pulled the driver over on the 10 Freeway on March 3 for using the HOV
lane without a passenger. $500 dollar ticket minimum
